Saumur Champigny

The Saumur Champigny land, on the south side of the Loire and bordered by its tributary, the Thouet, benefits from conditions which are particularly suited to growing vines.
The land enjoys a special climate. The Loire and the Thouet protect it from too much rain, and this, in conjunction with the calcareous clay soil, produces wines full of character and expression.

Great Saumur white wines from Brézé

Just a stone’s throw from Saint Cyr en Bourg, the Brézé land is renowned as one of the best sites for Loire Valley white wines.
The vineyards have been celebrated since the 15th century, by Good King René d’Anjou and the poet Joachim du Bellay amongst others.
